According to the docs a connection should auto-close after 2 minutes of non-use. This
is not happening. Even the close unused connections does not close them. I have to
exit out of jEdit for them to close. This was brought to my attention when looking
at processes running on my server which had over 60 connections active.
Using:
jEdit 4.3pre9 using Java 1.5.0_10
FTP Plugin 0.9.1
WinXP SP2

1.0.2 seems to work fine so far. 0.9.7 seems to have opened new connections with each save without closing old ones. A real process hog. |
